Mural Tour

Take a leisurely stroll downtown to admire many murals within walking distance of one another. Several murals were completed within 30 days by teens participating in the Teen Mural Program.

Enchanted Playhouse Theater

Enchanting tales of heroes, villains, and far-away places come to life throughout the year. Recent performances include Charlotte’s Web, Rapunzel and A Christmas Carol.

Farmer’s Market

Tulare County is the second largest agricultural community in the United States, producing billions of dollars of fruits, vegetables, dairy, and nuts. You will find the freshest assortment of foods in Downtown Visalia.

April through October, Downtown Visalia hosts a farmer’s market each Thursday night from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Many of our restaurants use local produce when creating their favorite recipes.

Trash Enclosures

Our painted trash enclosures have been recognized by the California State Assembly. We have taken these regularly drab enclosures and turned them into works of art with the help of our community artists.
