Mural Tour

Take a leisurely stroll downtown to admire many murals within walking distance of one another. Several murals were completed within 30 days by teens participating in the Teen Mural Program.

Fire Hydrant Walk

See if you’re up for the challenge to find all 20 of our painted fire hydrants along our Downtown Main St. Each one is uniquely designed and has a story to tell.  If you don’t have time to search for yourself and would like a brochure showing you to each location, stop by our office at 120 S Church St.

Trash Enclosures

Our painted trash enclosures have been recognized by the California State Assembly. We have taken these regularly drab enclosures and turned them into works of art with the help of our community artists.

Fox Theatre

Catch an old movie that is being brought back or a live performance at the historical Fox Theatre:  The Visalia Fox Theatre is a landmark movie palace and theatre in Downtown Visalia, California.  Opened in 1930 as a part of the Fox Theatre Chain it was converted to a three screen multiplex in 1976. After a brief closure in the late 1990s, it was restored by a community group and reopened in 1999 as a live performance auditorium with a seating capacity of 1,275.
